Alexandra Reid, Global Media Relations & Social Media Consultant at EY
Originally a Law graduate, Alexandra soon moved into marketing roles and gained work experience in both small, entrepreneurial and large, media organisations. She has recently returned to the UK after a period of time working in New York where she worked within the Global PR team of a large, professional services firm. Alexandra loves helping individuals and organisations build their online presence and is particularly interested in helping professionals and entrepreneurs gain confidence on social media so that they can become more visible. Social media is becoming an increasingly important tool for individuals to develop their own personal brand and identity, whether they work for a large company or are looking to start their own business. Alexandra draws on performance-based data to formulate social media strategies and create content based on what an audience is responding to best. Alexandra is also passionate about coaching and mentoring. She is particularly interested in matching young people to opportunities and helping individuals overcome restrictive beliefs to reach their full potential.
Chantal Barcelona - Senior Global Manager, Brand & Content at Mars Wrigley
With 8 years’ experience in communications marketing, both agency and client-side, I have exposure to the world of advertising from both sides of the fence. In my 5 years working media agency side, I worked across a variety of industries including FMCG (P&G), Automotive (Renault) and Luxury (LVMH). At Mars my key responsibility is to develop advertising campaigns and brand experiences in partnership with our agencies. Recently, as the UK was emerging out of lockdown, we launched a campaign on Extra gum which was very well received by the public and won a Cannes Bronze Lion. I am now working on the redesign of two of Mars’ start-up brands with the ambition to scale the brands over the next five years.
We are very excited for this month's OK Hustle! Look forward to seeing you there!
